2001 Boys Lacrosse Team

Coached by Harry Queener and Brian Hobart, the 2001 team claimed the school’s first New York State Championship in boys lacrosse. After defeating Geneva 15–2 in the Sectional final, they capped their season with a victory over powerhouse Manhasset  in the state championship game.  Known for their grit and determination, the roster included several future Division I collegiate athletes and helped cement Penn Yan’s place among the state’s elite lacrosse programs.
