1977 Girls Cross Country

Undefeated in dual meets with an 11–0 record, the 1977 team, led by Hall of Fame coach Tom Smart, won the Haverling, Hornell, and Waterloo Invitationals, as well as the Finger Lakes League and Section V Championships. They capped the season with a 4th-place finish at the New York State Class B Championship Meet. Each athlete on this team played a critical role in one of the most successful cross country campaigns in school history, setting a high bar for excellence, teamwork, and Mustang spirit.
