Principles of Engineering (PLTW)

Principles of Engineering sets the stage for your freshman year of college. Through problems that engage and challenge, students explore a broad range of engineering topics including mechanisms, energy, thermodynamics, strength of materials, structures, automation, and motion. Students develop skills in problem-solving and design by focusing on the design process and collaboration with peers.
 
What type of engineer or engineering technologist would you like to be?
This course can be used to fulfill 3rd Math or Science requirement for the Regents Diploma.
 
Students can earn RIT college credit.
*Prerequisite: 2 years of Regents Math and Science
