A message from David D. Pullen, PYA Principal

We have created this website to give you a sense of Penn Yan Academy - to provide a way for you to make an online visit to our school, to explore our campus, and to see the programs and people that make us a strong and dynamic school community.

PYA is a special place. We are a group of faculty, staff and administrators with the common goal of assuring that each child, whether gifted, average or special needs is provided with the essential skills and academic foundation to ensure that they are prepared to be productive contributing members of society and a positive reflection of the Penn Yan Central School District.

In visiting PYA, you will see young people active in their quest to grasp the broad educational opportunities that our school has to offer. You will see them learning to act, sing, draw, write, conduct research, compete in sports, utilize state-of-the-art technology, speak a different language, work on lab experiments, and give back to the community. You will watch students learning to want to know more about a myriad of topics.

Lifelong learning is part of achieving one's goals. We, at PYA, are unified in our vision to create the environment necessary to inspire academic excellence, character building, and strong leadership. Our students leave PYA prepared to meet the challenges ahead of them with confidence.

We hope this website helps you learn more about how Penn Yan Academy makes a difference in the lives of its students and alumni.

We encourage you to visit our school - we welcome your investigation! You will soon find that our Mustang Pride is absolutely contagious!
