The Facility

The library includes 8 networked computers and 25 “loaner” Chromebooks. The networked computers are frequently used for SchoolTool PW resets.

Classes are held in either the “Library Classroom” or the “Library”.

The Library Classroom is frequently utilized for instruction, meetings, and presentations. It is equipped with a SmartBoard and Document Camera.

Utilize Destiny Discover/the PYA Library Catalog, found on the library web page and in Classlink to search the library collection. You can also access the catalog here.

The loan period for library resources is two weeks (10 school days). You are welcome to stop by the library at any time to renew the loan. Students may sign out up to three books at a time.

If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please ask. We purchase materials periodically throughout the year. Additionally, we are able to borrow books from surrounding school libraries.

Borrow resources from other school districts across New York State through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Using the LMC

Students may come to the library from class or study hall. Library availability is based on class usage.

Students in the library are expected to follow the rules outlined in the Academy Code of Conduct.
