Scott Shoff
A 1996 graduate of PYA, Scott earned 11 varsity letters in football, wrestling, and lacrosse. A two-way starter on the football field, Scott was named to the all-league team. Scott earned many accolades on the wrestling mat as well, placing first in the league, second in Sectionals while earning the Varsity Club Award and several Finger Lakes West recognitions. Scott was a natural leader serving as a captain in several sports. He went on to compete at Alfred State where he was named Most Valuable Player. Scott passed away in 2001. Each spring, the Scott L Shoff memorial award is presented to a PYA student interested in furthering their education in agriculture.
